As of this afternoon, the Contributors area (previously only accessible after a donation to the website has been received) has been relaunched, with some fresh ideas!
Great news if you own your own website, Facebook group or blog! We’re opening up the new Partners section of the website on the right hand side of each page and at the partners page to all!
After a short stall in redevelopment of the site (due to a PC crash), updates are now in progress once again. This means that articles, techniques and kata, WC2009 and About pages which have been inaccessible for a while will soon become available again.

As some of you may know, this website uses two domain names, gkr-unofficial.com (primary, with hyphen) and gkrunofficial.com (forwarded, without hyphen).
Due to the installation (and now-reinstallation) of a content-management-system to the website, some pages may be temporarily unavailable for the next few weeks.
The GKR Karate World Cup in 2009 is drawing ever closer, which means that we need your help and support in our competition to help one forum member with the financial costs of getting to Melbourne for the competition next year.
Some new and great reads have been added to the site’s articles section, one called Find Your Own Training Weaknesses. Hover over the Home button above, then click on Articles to read it.
On Monday 7th July we launched our new forum design, and today this website has a new look that reflects that of the forum for the first time in GKR Unofficial’s history. Judging from the related topic on the forum, most of you like the new theme but there are a few who don’t. My apologies go out to these members but I’m sure you understand that you can’t please all of the people all of the time.
